Physical Therapist

Born and raised in NEPA, I spent many years in local dance studios, community theaters, and vocal groups. I always had a curiosity into the sciences which leaned more heavily towards biology as school went on, and that seemed to naturally drive my interests towards the medical field.

I’ve been performing in some way for as long as I could remember, which continued into PT school. It was a perfect fit when a professor pointed me in the direction of performing arts physical therapy. I geared my studies as best I could toward treating the Broadway community and was able to parlay my personal experience to the benefit of dancers, musicians, singers, as well as those behind the scenes. For almost 15 years and across three states, I treated backstage at houses on Broadway, off-Broadway, regional theaters, and modern dance companies.

Core Values: Loyalty, Optimism, Compassion

“There’s no place like home.”

In my time treating performers, I often treated other athletes with similar needs such as figure skaters and gymnasts, all of whom were more likely to experience certain conditions: particularly hypermobility spectrum effects.

Dealing with the unknown – there is enough stress and apprehension when a patient is dealing with an injury or a chronic issue. When there are questions weighing on you as well, it makes what comes next seem that much more difficult, or worse – overwhelming. I hope to make the path a little less rocky, the hills a little less insurmountable by empowering you with education about your case and your body. I don’t promise to know all the answers, but I will certainly help you to find them.

I also truly enjoy treating prenatal and postpartum clients, helping women to reach their goal of a healthy, strong pregnancy and delivery followed by a return to their prior level of activity in their new life.

I love the camaraderie of the team and the work ethic every member of the team displays.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my two toddlers who are my everything. I’ve just moved back to the area, so spending time with family and reconnecting with great friends has been a wonderful way to spend my down time!
