We target the inflamed area directly.
For inflammation and pain that won’t quiet down: focused light energy that supports your body’s own healing, painless and with no downtime.
What It Is
Inflammation is part of how your body heals, but when it lingers, it’s often what keeps a spot angry long after the original injury should have settled down.
Laser therapy, also called low-level laser therapy or photobiomodulation, applies light energy directly to the tissue. At the cellular level, that light helps reduce inflammation and supports your body’s natural healing response. There’s no heat, no needles, and no downtime after.
It’s a supporting piece of your plan, not the main treatment. We use it to calm the area down so the movement and strength work in your plan can keep moving forward.

Pairs Well With
Questions, Answered
No. Most people feel nothing at all, occasionally a mild, comfortable warmth. There’s no burning, no needles, and no recovery time needed afterward. You can go right back to the rest of your session.
No. Heat lamps just warm the surface, and ultrasound uses sound waves. Laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of light that reach the tissue and work at the cellular level, which is a different mechanism entirely.
It depends on your plan: laser therapy is coded differently than a standard PT visit, and insurers don’t all treat it the same way. We verify your exact benefits before your first session, so there’s no surprise on your bill. Questions before then? Call us at (570) 319-6903.
