Dr. Ryan Brooke

PT, DPT, ATC
Physical Therapist

I was born and raised in Mount Laurel, NJ just outside of Philadelphia where I lived until attending West Chester University for my undergraduate degree. At West Chester University, I met my wife, from Clarks Summit, and we lived in the West Chester area for about 9 years before making the move to Clarks Summit in early 2026.

I began working at 15 years old as a cashier and pushing carts at Wegmans, where I enjoyed helping people out to their cars every day. Combining my passion for helping others, and sports, I pursued my Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training at West Chester University, working with multiple sports teams at this and other local schools. During that time I was able to intern a season in the Arena Football League with the Philadelphia Soul during their 2016 championship season. I was able to see a lot of athletic injuries, concussions, and work closely with our team physicians.

I always knew I wanted to work with individuals across the entire age spectrum, and pursuing my career in physical therapy made sense. I enjoy treating patients across the lifespan with various conditions and enjoy every bit of it. Prior to moving to NEPA, I was able to gain experience working closely and in-person with orthopedic physicians that my patients were seeing, and it was rewarding having that interprofessional communication.

Core Values: Kindness, Respect, Integrity. I believe treating others in how you or your family members want to be treated forms positive relationships and makes the difference between a good provider and a great one.

“…If something is going on in your life and you’re struggling, embrace it, because you’re growing.” – Nick Foles

Pain is the number one cause of someone coming in to see me. Dealing with pain sometimes feels like a very long tunnel without a light at the end of it. It feels like you don’t know where to start or how it is going to improve. I always want to attack the pain head on, but it is important to find the underlying root cause of the pain, such as repetitive positions/movement patterns leading to the pain. This takes time, effort and commitment not just on the patient’s part but on my part. I enjoy watching someone improve a movement pattern, be proud of this, and feel successful. I love making people realize they are capable of doing more than what they thought was possible by the end of it. My goal is to make someone feel stronger than prior to their injury!

I am a staff physical therapist that enjoys working with patients across the entire spectrum of conditions, but have drawn interest in concussion and vestibular rehab.

I enjoy breaking down gait mechanics with any condition and working on improving walking capabilities for balance and to avoid/prevent injury.

I love the team environment and everyone’s willingness to help each other, as everyone has their own knowledge and methods of treating. The patients see this and really appreciate the communication and attention to detail.

The reason why I work so hard is because of my wife Lindsay and our puppy Duke. We love hanging out, going for walks, taking trips, and hanging out with friends. I love to golf and NEPA has been a fantastic area to allow me to play frequently!
