Annie Comcowich
Front Office Coordinator
I grew up in Scranton. I am the youngest of 9 children and my mother’s favorite! I graduated from Scranton Central and obtained a BS from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. I currently reside in Moosic with my husband Ken, and 2 daughters, Molly and Grace. We have two dogs, Finnegan and Stella, and a fish named Spike. I have over 40 years of customer service experience. Impact Physio has allowed me to further hone my skills in the field of Physical therapy.
Core values that drive me in life and raising our children are responsibility, kindness, humility and compassion.
“Whoever is happy will make others happy too.” -Anne Frank
As the Front Office Coordinator, I am usually the first impression of Impact Physio. Whether it be on the phone or in person. My goal is to make sure each interaction is positive and our patient’s needs are being addressed. I specialize in making our patients smile, laugh and have a great experience while at PT.
Insurance is a huge obstacle for many patients. I would like to see insurance streamlined across the various insurance types. Insurance needs serious reform! I’ve witnessed too many patients having to stop PT due to denial of benefits or being cost prohibitive.
I enjoy our patients the most! I have developed incredible, lasting friendships with so many patients and families. I am lucky to be able to interact with amazing people on a daily basis!
What’s Annie Reading, Listening To, or Watching?
Favorite book(s): Agnes Brown Trilogy: The Mammy, The Granny and The Chisellers (A must read! You’ll be reading with an Irish brogue!)
Favorite TV Show: Survivor. I have been a fan since day 1!
Favorite Movie: The King and I. The original with Yul Brenner. Etcetera, Etcetera, Etcetera!
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family, playing all sorts of board games, and trips to the beach. You can also catch me rooting for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and the Minnesota Vikings.
