John-Salva

John Salva - Physical Therapist

John helps people of all ages remain active and participate in the sports they love.

Aside from Impact Physio, John is an adjunct professor at the University of Scranton and a member of the Sports Safety team at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NY.

John earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton in 1999. He has been certified in Dry Needling and as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He regularly attends continuing education seminars and has been a speaker at local and regional educational meetings. His interests include fitness, basketball, golf and time with family.

Teresa-Salva

Teresa Salva - Practice Manager

Teresa obtained a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University in 1998.  She worked 16 years providing services to children and adolescents in the community mental health/drug & alcohol setting.

 Throughout this time, Teresa developed an interest and skills needed for healthcare management, transitioning to the role of Practice Manager at Impact Physio in 2014.   

​Keeping a healthy work/life balance is important to Teresa. She spends spare time spoiling her dog, walking, and exercising. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Annie-Comcowich

Annie Comcowich - Client Care Coordinator

Annie started her career in Customer Service at the age of 13 and has been enjoying it ever since. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College in Albany, NY.

Impact Physio has allowed her to further hone her customer service skills in the field of Physical Therapy.

Her interests include spending time with her husband, 2 daughters and their three dogs, reading, playing games and football. You can catch her rooting for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and the Minnesota Vikings.

Emily

Emily Germain - DPT, GCS

Emily has an interest in treating patients of all ages and helping them get back to what they love! She believes that there is room for physical improvement at any age. 

Emily earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2015. She is a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist through the APTA. 

Outside of the clinic Emily enjoys spending her time watching sports, playing with her dogs, jogging and baking.

Charlie--CME

Charlie - CME

She has been working part time as our CME – no, not Chief Medical Examiner, but rather our Chief Mood Enhancer.

She loves to “make friends” and is willing to have her belly rubbed by ANYONE. She is most often in the office in the afternoon but she can also be made available upon request.
